The first two bullet points were created using the bullet icon.
In webhelp this paragraph will have a round bullet point that displays with clean edges. It will appear with a diamond shaped bullet in Oracle javahelp but it still has clean edges. So use the bullet icon if your output is webhelp or Oracle javahelp.
In Sun javahelp the bullet point looks like something from MineSweeper or, as one author put it, part of a medieval weapon.
The next two bullets were created using a table with no border and a bullet graphic. The gap between the bullet and the text is a bit wider than the examples above.

These bullet points will display correctly in Sun javahelp so use this method if that is your output. You could use this method with webhelp but there is no need. |
